Melange 446
Ever Decreasing Circles (1980s Comedy Sitcom)Clever intro graphics (literally, 'contracting' ripples) and the music was a piano piece by Shostakovich. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z3GziPDHlpMAll Creatures Great and Small (Drama series about a Rural Veterinarian. 70s-90s)Unforgettable tune, nostalgic 'Old England' intro sequence, and a so so series. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qS7Z1q9hL2I! Melange 446
The Sweeney (1970s Drama about two members of Flying Squad, a kind of 'Blackwater' of the Metropolitan Police).Hard Hitting theme and no nonsense graphics. A series with plenty of irate - "Oi!" and "SHUT IT,you're knicked me old son!" collar grabbing. LoveJoy (Mid 80s-Mid 90s Drama about a rather dodgy antiques dealer)Never really 'got' the series back then (probably would now), but I always loved the theme and its harpsichord elements. Naïve Old Fart 9,493
Ah! Thank you, Mr. Blood. Has anyone ever seen this? It's been billed as "'Twin Peaks' meets John Steinbeck'. It's just a pity that it was not allowed to complete its run as was originally intended.
