TownerFan 4,983
In this short clip you'll hear what probably is a hint of Giacchino's score: Sounds like a cross between The Incredibles and Speed Racer. However, it seems to be still a synth mock-up, not the final recorded cue.
BLUMENKOHL 1,068
Sounds pretty lame I must admit. And not because of the mockup sound.

Koray Savas 2,251
The other one is most likely an import, same thing happened with On Stranger Tides. And you're "ugh"-ing over 5 songs? It could be much worse.

Richard Penna 3,672
At least they're all clumped together. Ditch the first 5 tracks and you've got a nice score release.I kind of wish Randy Newman was returning for this; I love his score for the first one. MattyO 62
I agree Rich. I love Michael Giacchino's Pixar scores, but I think Toy Story 3 showed Randy Newman is still capable of mixing and matching genres. I find it quite sad he couldn't or was not asked to return. LongTallJodie 59
If Cars 2 is anything like Cars 1, releasing a soundtrack without those songs would be ridiculous, since they usually play a major role in their respective scenes. Also, I love Weezer. I love the Cars. I love Weezer covering the Cars. So no complaints here!
