Wasn't Spielberg absolutely furious at the Academy for that display, which he found completely disrespectful to the memory of the people who died in the Holocaust? I know I was watching that.

No, he wasn't.

Nearly LOL when the 'display' started. Managed to contain myself as I'm at work. I don't think that was disrespectful - more a celebration of life after the holocaust.

I like Williams' speeches. Short and sweet, and at most, naming the orchestra or something you've worked very closely with.

Oh, and if anyone here uploads videos, please don't disable embedding. I don't understand why people put that restriction on.

oh, that was great!!

I was searching for ages for that music montage from the oscars with Schindler's List..

Does anyone have the music montage when Home Alone was nominated?

I remember that dance montage at the time. Absolutely dreadful. I'm not saying SCHINDLER'S LIST can't be adapted into dance. It most certainly can. But the context is ALL wrong, and there's nothing in the dance that seems to tailored to the subject matter.

But thanks. I had never seen the E.T. one before.
