Jay 37,352 Posted November 14, 2011 Share Posted November 14, 2011 A recent trend I've quite enjoyed is film studios setting up websites to hype their films for awards season, which are especially useful to film score fans as they offer a free way to legally stream the scores to some movies - and the streams usually contain more music than are on the official OSTs!I'll try to keep this main post updated as more sites featuring streaming scores pop up. Focus Features sites streams scores to a bunch of their contenders.Dreamworks' FYC page confirms that they will be pushing War Horse for Best Original Score.Paramount's doesn't say if they'll be pushing Tintin for best score yet Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If Tintin will be submitted, the Maestro will surely take two noms as usual.As for the other slots, I suspect French movie The Artist will surely be part of the five nominees. I also have the suspect this will be the favourite one.Thomas Newman is a strong contender as well, as he has two Oscar-bait projects under his belt (The Help and The Iron Lady).
