indy4 152
Didn't expect such high results from War Horse!War Horse was the most impressive out of the new releases with an estimated $15 million from Sunday to Monday. Holding off on opening until Christmas Day, the Steven Spielberg-directed World War I drama claimed third place both days behind Ghost Protocol and Sherlock Holmes. It's way too early to say for sure, but there's a very good chance this winds up being the highest-grossing Christmas release this year. http://www.boxofficemojo.com/news/?id=3331&p=.htm
Not Mr. Big 3,589
Good, it's miles ahead of the mostly brainless Mission Impossible film. Haven't seen Sherlock Holmes though I hear it's mediocre. I just might see War Horse again today or tomorrow to help it's efforts though I might just see Huggo. indy4 152
War Horse has dropped out of the running for most successful Xmas release, but it will be pretty profitable. It only cost $66 million to make it, and it's already at $45 domestically, plus $4 million from the few non-US countries it's been released in. indy4 152
War Horse is just over 66 million worldwide, which means it is profiting (not counting marketing costs).
publicist 4,484
Don't be afraid, nobody from WAR HORSE's production team will have to starve, even if it wouldn't earn a dime.

Incanus 5,519
Tintin is beating War horsePETA!Now that boy scout's reputation is forever tarnished. Serves him right! Thank you War Horse for exposing him as the arch enemy of PETA. Snowy might have some horror stories to tell as well. I guess fear has kept him silent all these years. I shouldn't wonder if those anatomically faulty legs in the recent film are revealed to be a result of abuse by Mr. Tintin. How awful.
Luke Skywalker 1,284
you know in one or several of the comics, tintin slaps milou for doing something bad, like eating refuse and the likes....
Incanus 5,519
you know in one or several of the comics, tintin slaps milou for doing something bad, like eating refuse and the likes....That's just one documented case. I bet there are numerous others when Hergé or the film makers weren't around to document. Shame on Tintin.
