I've seen the first two Twilights and I won Twilight 3 in a competition (some prize) but haven't watched it yet. Never seen a Transformers movie either, The Matrix sequels, the POTC sequels, or most of Tarantino's movies.

Not having seen TWILIGHT is a badge of honour, IMO.

On the more embarassing side, I've never seen classics like IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE or most of Marilyn Monroe's films, for example. And a bunch of others.

I see a LOT of films, but it's spread out pretty wide -- from obscure Brazilian art films of the 20s to the latest Hollywood blockbuster -- so I can't cover it all, and some classics will always remain on the 'backburner'.

I never watched an entire Bond movie starring Sean Connery. Well, maybe Dr No, but can't be sure.

All of which is strange, cause I've seen all the others.

Funny you should say that. Up untill a few years ago, I had only seen the Brosnan Bonds and ON HER MAJESTY'S SECRET SERVICE (and a few tidsbits from this and that). Then I decided to see through all the old ones, if only because they're such an integral part of our popular culture. I wanted to see what the fuss was about. It wasn't really a positive experience, as I have no nostalgic connection to these films, and I kinda saw through their camp factor a bit too often. I was "too adult" to see them for the first time.

So in terms of personal value, I still think the Brosnan and Craig films are the best, and am kinda indifferent to the rest.

I have never seen any of the Alien films in full, only bits and pieces. Nor any of the Predator films. Nor any Alien VS Predator films.

I've never seen fight club. pretty embarrassing, I even bought it about a year ago so I don't know what's stopping me.

You're waiting for me so we could watch it together. Just kidding, why don't you do crazy and watch it tonight? It's a pretty good film.

I do not want to see it.

It's a horrible overrated film, avoid it at all cost. It's a lie and a cheat.

Oh, you would haaaaaate it with your very soul. The penultimate episode, the final scene... your head would explode in anger. I urge you to avoid it at all cost, and I'm not joking.

Of course, it's utterly superb.

Oh, that one is among the best stories I've seen in a film. I recommend it.

I greatly enjoyed Game of Thrones, which is something I didn't expect. I used to be quite into pseudomedieval fantasy but I went all the way to hard science-fiction and now I'm lazy to go into these petty nobles wanting to rule and what not. Still, Game of Thrones had a great cast, very interesting plotting and amazing opening credits (this is what made me to see it, actually). I hooked my parents to it afterwards.

I've sort of always felt the same way, about Harry Potter. Plus the juvenile aspect was always a turn off. I know it's family ordinated, but it's all just a bit too jaunty and kiddy friendly for my tastes. That's what makes GoT so interesting for me - it's one for the grown ups, and grown ups only.

Which works well for my entry in this thread: I haven't seen the last three Potter movies.

I've never seen any Kurosawa films except for "Dreams". I really hope to remedy this soon. I have Ran on Blu Ray waiting for the appropriate moment to watch it. Having said that, I've never seen The Magnificent Seven either, which is why I just bought the Blu Ray.

My advice would be going straight to The Seven Samurai, as well.

I've never seen The Magnificent Seven. I have the Kurosawa film too embedded in my brain. It's like... no way!!

To those who have never seen Star Wars...hold out. For as long as you can. Don't break down. Don't give in. There is a rare breed of person in the world, and that it is one who has never seen the cultural juggernaut and wasteland that is Star Wars. You are special and not to be corrupted.

I'm working on a speech to give to the stone age Rondonian tribe in the Amazon the next time I go to South America, and I was going to include that bit in my presentation. What do you think?

I've never seen The Sound Of Music, Gone With The Wind, Citizen Kane, or any Hitchcock movie beyond Psycho, Vertigo, and the Birds

I've never seen Star Trek 7 or 10

As far as James Bond films go, I've only seen Dr No, From Russia With Love, OHMSS, and then Goldeneye->Quantum

I never saw the Little Mermaid until last year. I've seen Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, and The Lion King exactly 1 time each.

Of these I think I've only seen Citizen Kane, The Birds (which I didn't like), and Casino Royale. I saw other Bond films when I was a kid and don't remember anything.

Return of the Jedi

any Bond movies before Brosnan

All Star Treks except the new one

And most movies made 1950 and backwards (exceptions: Citizen Kane, Sunset Blvd)

I

I haven't seen Sen to Chihiro no Kamikakushi in its entirety, nor Akira, nor Ghost in the Shell, nor Mononoke-hime, nor Grave of the Fireflies.

I've never seen them or even heard of them, Ok I have heard of Akira, wasn't that a Japanese Aircraft carrier sunk by the US navy at Midway.

Nope I'm wrong that was Akagi.

Empire Strikes Back

Well this is "almost" funny. The movie is considered the best of the famous series. The score

IS best music ever written and you don't even bothered to check it out...

Actually I don't buy this...

For me: The Taxi Driver

Raging Bull

Finally someone who agrees with me. This film is an adolescent cheat.

You're in for a treat. Those are some of my alltime favourite films. I must have seen both ALIEN and ALIENS more than twenty times each. BLADE RUNNER half that number, perhaps, but still (it was one of my master thesis analyses).

Yes you're in for a treat indeed.

They're animated, yes, some based on comic books. Not necessarily have to contain big eyes or bad animation. It's just that as much as I love animation, I haven't seen these, and some of them are supposed to be musts. But that shall be changed! In the case of Akira, I'll probably read the books first.

Why? I think it's a wonderful story, with some really good moments of black humour, and an awesome ending. I also like the monotonous weird narration, the scrambled editing as if several ideas were competing for screentime and the Fincher touch to it all.

I've seem most of Titanic, but all in out of order chunks from various times when it was on TV. I'm still missing some of the stuff in the middle. Havne't seen Gone with the Wind.

Jason, you should definitely see The Sound of Music. It's one of the greatest movies ever made.

That reminds me: I've never seen West Side Story or Singing In The Rain

Those are some of the best animated films of all time. I still watched Spirited Away if I'm bored. Grave of the Fireflies is the equivalent of Schindler's List in animated form.

Never seen any Terminator films.

You should check out the first two they're great, especially Judgement Day. Hopefully you won't mind the 80's cheesiness for the first Terminator but it's still good to watch.

Empire Strikes Back

Tell me your joking. The Empire Strikes Back (theatrical) is by far the best Star Wars movie made.

Okay honestly I've never seen Blade Runner, don't really want to. I'm sure there's a whole bunch of other movies people have seen that I have not and really no desire to.

I've never seen the Lord of the Rings movies all the way through (well technically I've seen Fellowship, but my attention wasn't really on the movie). I'm indifferent, but I'll check them out some day.

Star Wars is the one you can watch and have no need to see any other. It's perfect entertainment, and the best score of the bunch

I can't even begin to understand the thinking of ruling out parts pop culture like Blade Runner or The Empire Strikes Back. If anything, I'd see them to get my own opinion. And if then I happened to like them, even better.

I'm eager to see them. I've got all of them and next week is holidays.

Do you got the English dub or the original Japanese audio of SA and GotF? Either way they're all awesome and the English dub did justice and retain the spirit of the original.
