crocodile 7,999
Michael Kamen would be 64 today. A man of big talent(s) and even bigger heart (as heard through his music). His last work (which I wholeheartedly recommend if you haven't listened to it yet):http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-bRzFRyk1HAAnd my personal favourite work of his: There are many others, of course. ShowUStheHOOK 8
A note on the first one, the rhythm in the bass reminds me of " Oveture " from Robin Hood Prince of Thieves. Another great score by him. Can't say the movie lived up to it, sadly. I also recommend his lethal weapon scores.

Trent B 337
An awesome composer who died way too young. At least he's in a much better place now. I am currently listening to his awesome score for Die Hard (LLL) set now.Hopefully his score for Robin Hood: Prince Of Thieves gets a legit complete release at some point. Dixon Hill 4,234
Also crap quality. The music from this series so desperately needs a proper release. crocodile

crocodile 7,999
That X-Men piece is still the single best cue from this series. I remember it really standing out in film. The guy who hated action movies did some really bad ass stuff in this genre: Karol

Dixon Hill 4,234
And if there was anyone who was acceptable to take Rick Wright's seat at the piano, it was him. crocodile
Ricard 2,245
Great stuff up there One of my favorite cues from my second favorite film composer: And a Kamen interview showing some of the temp tracks used for Brazil (my favorite non-Williams score):

Kasey Kockroach 2,344
I don't know why 101 Dalmatians is the only Kamen score I own, but I love it anyhoo.
