You don't like classical?

Though you're right, most of the time classical music makes your adrenaline go sluggish, not pumping.

Why has my thread turned classical? We need some more Tiesto I think!

Tiesto is OK, but a bit too commercial for my taste. I prefer more hardhitting goa and psytrance. Darker stuff.

I don't get a greater rush than from the Batman Returns "Birth Of A Penguin", when the Batman theme kicks in with this insanely pulsating low string rhythm.

Now that's more like it. No more of this Holst or Shastokovic crap!

This is a very foolish thing to say.

The thing is, you cannot judge a genre. Any man who judges by the group is a pea-wit. You take pieces of music one at a time.

I thought The Adventures of Pluto Nash was the biggest box office flop the world has ever seen.

Or is that Battlefield Earth?

I think it's Speed Racer.

Interesting that these bombs have great scores. Well, except for Battlefield Earth.

I don't even know who composed it, certainly no one reputable. Looking at Mojo's numbers, it wasn't even really a bomb. Made $29, cost $73. Nothing compared to the $200 lost on John Carter or Speed Racer.

I don't often do youtube embedding like everyone else and their grandmother, but here's a good example of Juno Reactor's kick-ass adrenaline rush stuff -- one of my favourite tracks by them, even including orchestral flourishes that should appeal to film music fans:

It's still 2006 in your mind.

More like 1996.

Go back a decade earlier and you're golden.

Oh great, way to ruin the thread layout with vulgar YouTube videos, Thor. I can't browse comfortably with big eyesores like that in my face. Thanks for nothing.
