Williamsfan301 11
Best known as the calm, small town country sheriff Andy Taylor, and the country lawyer, Matlock, Andy Griffith has passed away. JoeinAR 1,949
Andy's first ever film was called a Face in the Crowd. It was filmed partially in Piggott Arkansas, which is about 25 minutes from here. It's a quaint little town that hosted Earnest Hemingway.Anyways Andy plays a very different character in that film, he's quite evil, somewhat different than his Andy Taylor of later days. BLUMENKOHL 1,068
I was like 10 or 11, my mom and I saw him and waved hoping we could approach to say hello. He flicked us off.

BLUMENKOHL 1,068
It'd be like meeting Gandhi and he kicks you in the balls and fondles your mother.

I would find that surprising if you're serious.Regardless, I think The Andy Griffith show is an absolute American classic. I am relatively young but watched it as reruns as a kid and still love it to this day.
