I had the pleasure of meeting the man just a few months ago. He signed my copy of The Poseidon Adventure. Super cool guy, and quite with it for 95 years old!

Rest in peace, Ernie.

This was my favorite Ernest Borgnine moment from 4 years ago when he was on Fox and Friends. He talked about his secret to aging well...and well....just watch and listen for yourself.

I was thinking about this clip the moment I saw the truncated headline that Borgnine had died at 95, and was hoping someone would post it.

When you think back on how many movies the man appeared in, how late into his career he worked and stayed active, and how many of his contemporaries died years ago...this man won. Rest in peace.

I love it! It's great, cause, he had obviously hit that point in his life where his philosphy was "Screw it! What are they going to do to me!?"

The first time I recall watching him was in "The Black Hole". At the time, besides the robots, the thing that always catch the eye of a kid, it was his character that really grabbed my attention.

Ever since, always loved his performances.

May he rest in peace.
