avalanche 0
RIP.My wife and I watched a late-night showing of Twister on cable this weekend, and there's a great little part where one of the stormchasers blasts "Child in Time" as the caravan closes on a tornado. Such a great song!

Koray Savas 2,251
I'm not hugely familiar with Deep Purple's discography, but I'm huge fan of the songs I know, "Hush" being my favorite.RIP
Naïve Old Fart 9,502
The rock world will miss him. Although not as dexterous, and inventive as Rick Wakeman, or as subtle as Tony Banks, he was absolutely what Deep Purple needed to propel them to rock royality. Thanks for the heads up, Alex. I knew that Lord was an accomplished classical composer, but I had never heard of the c.d that you posted. Again, my thanks.
