The Amazing Spider-man 2 (2014 Film)

It's the only example in recent memory, and it's mighty sad.

When Zimmer talks about revolutionary scoring techniques about ASM 2, after years of this trash, he just comes off as a pompous, delusional moron.

i somehow didnt read that zimmer was doing the score before!

Wow...and this was Horner's most original score in years.

Well, i just hope someday Sony loses the spiderman rights and it return to Disney Marvel, where they should be used to better use.

What revolutionary scoring techniques would those be? All he said was that he's working on it, experimenting, and trying to find a different approach to the standard action film.

Yep, I agree. Didn't like the first, outside of Garfield/Stone, and this doesn't look any better. Spider-Man's suit is perfect though.

Bagley eyes!

This is too good to be true.

Is it?

It is.

By all accounts, this film looks like a natural continuation of Spider-Man 3.

Except, you know, Peter's just now getting out of high school, there's no MJ, Aunt May doesn't live in an apartment anymore.

I'm not too thrilled about Jamie Foxx being in the movie (then again who is?). Either way shooting the film down BEFORE seeing it...I mean seriously? Like the old saying "Don't judge a book by its cover".

Why not wait to see the movie before saying, "it sucks!"?

Fine points, except you don't realise that I meant TASM 2 is a continuation of, you know, SM 3's descent into absurdity.

I think the thing that MIGHT hurt the movie is Zimmer's score...wasn't very keen on his score for Man Of Steel. I can only imagine how this will be...

His concoction of of sounds is my biggest worry for the film. I love Spidey regardless so even if the film isn't very good I'll still find enough to enjoy. Zimmer is my only real worry. Unless he decides to go back to writing good music like he did for the Lion King/Prince of Egypt/Gladiator. If MoS is anything to go by :folder:

Spider-Man 3 really isn't that bad. Could have been better, and some of the editing decisions are...interesting, but overall it was good. TASM2 just looks like shit from the get-go.

Spider-Man 3 is possibly one of the very worst films I've ever seen. Even worse than the Reeve Superman sequels. The editing decisions are really the least of the film's problems. Elfman must have had a Spidey sense, evading the franchise at the right moment. Raimi clearly lost his mind in that one.
