Wojo 2,453
Oh what the hell did I read that for? Nothing says that Ellie has to still be alive at the time of Toy Story 3. That assumes that because someone dies, you won't display a card they sent you before they passed.

Wojo 2,453
So we know that R2D2 and C3PO are part of Indiana Jones' universe simply because ancient hieroglyphics of these two droids were sealed inside the Well of the Souls for thousands of years when the Ark was hidden at Tanis, correct? And that's supposed to be our universe, since none of the powerful "MacGuffins" were used to spread National Socialism or Thuggee influence around the globe. So R2D2 and C3PO really did exist a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away, and news of their legendary adventures reached ancient Egyptians on Earth who glorified them inside a subterranean tomb.Oh wait, it gets better. See, when E.T. went trick'r'treating, he recognized a member of Yoda's race and saw him as "home, home" because Yoda's species coexisted with E.T's kind in the Star Wars galaxy. Clearly, when E.T's ship landed on Earth in the 1980s and he was left behind, this happened thousands of years after the droids were carved into the Well of the Souls, but the legacy of those galactic adventures were handed down through the ages until George Lucas could preserve them in movies -- Elliot had statues of Greedo, and then this is Hammerhead, see this is Walrus Man, and this is Snaggle Tooth and this is Lando Calrissian see, ...and look, they can even have wars. -- which E.T. then recognized on Halloween.Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight. mrbellamy 6,235
So, as many of you know (or may know now), one of the Pixar staff divulge the secret that all the films they made share the same universe. It's an amusing theory, but I've never heard of anybody who actually works for Pixar saying that the "one universe" idea is anything more than coincidence.
