What are you drinking tonight?

Jeffrey Bernard will be unwell

Absinthe

It makes the heart grow fonder . I got into absinthe by watching the blind bloke on "Carnivale". Now I absolutely love it!

Beer is useless to me because the flavor is at it's very best...tolerable, so I get no enjoyment from drinking it. And as a means to get drunk it's inefficient because of the low alcohol content

I had 3 bottles of Bud as I watched the F.A. Cup Final, yesterday, and I enjoyed 'em, but then again, I needed 'em. Tense!

I just polished off a bottle of Asti Spumonti or whatever it's called that we opened up on New Years and was flat as could be, because it was taking up space in the fridge. Still yields a buzz.

Didn't plan on having anything to drink tonight. However, I was sitting on my steps, having a smoke, and my neighbor approached me. Total babe and very friendly. We had a chat, she ended up giving me a free beer and then she went inside.

I wonder if she'll marry me...

Hopefully I'll run into her again. Gotta get an engagement ring, just to be safe.

I tried a Coors Light Summer Brew tonight, just for the hell of it.

I've always thought of Coors Light as piss water. However, this Summer Brew shit is actually piss water. Literally. Just with a citrus mask. The after taste is very salty, for some reason. Some of the most horrid shit I've ever had in my life.

With my tea tonight I had a very nice can of Wells Bombardier, a premium English ale hailing from Bedford. Bang on! Check the link for more infotainment:

I thoroughly recommend it with traditional English cuisine such as fried egg, chips and baked beans with a small packet of iced gems for pudding.

I had a Dogfish Head 90 Minute yesterday with lunch because the pizza joint has that brewery's beer on special for $3. I then wanted to buy a case of it, but I couldn't justify $52 for 24 bottles. So I bought some Great Lakes instead.

Yeah I had the 90 Minute too. Their Alehouse 75 is pretty great, it's a combination of the 90 and the 60 Minute. Starts off smooth with a pleasantly bitter finish.

I also had their Namaste and Midas Touch, the latter being a Turkish style beer.

According to my Untappd I've only had 60 and 90, and I never tried the brewery before I liked IPAs. But my bike route later will take me past some great bars...
