Jay 40,599
We recently visited New Orleans, and came home with a bottle of Peychaud's bitters. Last night we busted it open and made a drink with it out of stuff we could find in the house. Went with a "Crimson Slippers" which was equal parts rum, Campari and Cointreu, with dashes of the bitters. Was supposed to be served with an orange peel too, but we didn't have any. It was decent, but definitely needed a fruit juice component to come together. Anyways, it was fun trying to use up random bottles of old stuff that've been in our liquor cabinet for a super long time

Naïve Old Fart 10,854
Although I haven't drunk any alcoholic drinks for nearly two years, I must admit that I sometimes have a craving for White Russians... Weren't there some posts about ginger beer, recently? I had my first Fever Tree at a children's Christmas party, last year (best not to ask ). It really is very nice, indeed, isn't it? Naïve Old Fart 10,854
Yeah there is that, but what Meddings et al did for the effects was remarkable, and virtually all in-camera.
Nick1Ø66 6,082
Dünkel. They all taste the same and they're all good. Like the German's who brew it, consistently consistent.
#SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 10,521
Ive had Paulaner. Indeed tasty and reliable. Despite the German sounding name, a Dutch made supermarket special brew. Great for swilling down my anti-depressent and anti- psychotic meds and will help put me to sleep in about 2 hours. For not much money at all! Nick1Ø66
