Cerebral Cortex 3,365 Posted March 17, 2022 Posted March 17, 2022 Perhaps the closest we'll ever get to a Williams theme for an old Godzilla movie. Been stuck in my head for days. Raiders of the SoundtrArk 1
JoeinAR 1,957 Posted March 17, 2022 Posted March 17, 2022 As I just mentioned in another thread I have been hearing We Don't Talk About Bruno. This has drilled into my defenceless brain.
tomsmoviemadness 4,788 Posted March 18, 2022 Posted March 18, 2022 Rumpelstiltskin's theme from Shrek Forever After by Harry Gregson-Williams. First 0:15 seconds!
Jay 45,891 Posted September 19, 2022 Author Posted September 19, 2022 I've had Bear McCreary's Khazad-dun theme pop into my head constantly for the past few days, ever since we watched episode 2 of the show I guess Cerebral Cortex 1

Jay 45,891 Posted January 6, 2023 Author Posted January 6, 2023 For some reason I have Danny Elfman's Catwoman theme from Batman Returns running through my head today, even though I haven't seen that film in a decade nor listened to the score for a few years filmmusic 1

And the whole score of course.
MrJosh 1,197 Posted January 13, 2023 Posted January 13, 2023 I know it's a weird combo, but Cineque's Theme from Amistad, and Surrender from Tomorrow Never Dies have been alternating in my head for last couple weeks for obvious reasons. GerateWohl 1
Jay 45,891 Posted January 13, 2023 Author Posted January 13, 2023 Two of 1997's best themes! MrJosh 1

I know that effect. This morning when The Fabelmans theme went through my head it turned into a mesh-up with the Love Theme from Dances with Wolves. MrJosh 1
Edmilson 12,263 Posted February 25, 2023 Posted February 25, 2023 I was listening to Bear McCreary's LOTR yesterday, so now I have his Númenor and Galadriel themes mostly mixed in my head during the whole day.
Naïve Old Fart 12,928 Posted April 17, 2023 Posted April 17, 2023 For reasons known only to my subconscious, I haven't been able to get "Twisted Abduction" out of my head, all morning. It's rather good
Damien F 2,009 Posted July 20, 2023 Posted July 20, 2023 The Presumed Innocent theme is as much an ear worm for me as JW's more famous themes especially the ostinato part. tomsmoviemadness 1
JoeinAR 1,957 Posted July 20, 2023 Posted July 20, 2023 My current ear work is from Victor Victoria, La Jazz Hot
TheUlyssesian 2,696 Posted July 25, 2023 Posted July 25, 2023 anyone help me recognize this cue- here are the clues 1. the internals go something like F ---- E F G 2. deep male chorus chanting 3. maybe some kind of heroic - action score the phrase is stuck in my mind but can't identify it.
mrbellamy 8,085 Posted September 22, 2023 Posted September 22, 2023 Still have never seen this movie but the theme gets stuck in my head all the time Bayesian 1

She quotes lines from it with her sister all the time. So random to see it pop up here—although it is a lovely score and Delerue’s name should be spoken of ‘round these parts far more often than it is.
mrbellamy 8,085 Posted September 22, 2023 Posted September 22, 2023 Love Delerue. Based on the temp influence on Color Purple and Hook, I'm sure Spielberg would have hired him at some point if not for Williams. Another mother-daughter (and Shirley Maclaine) theme that cycles through my brain regularly
Jay 45,891 Posted April 19, 2024 Author Posted April 19, 2024 The choral work in this cue is a total earworm! I feel like its homaging some existing work, but I have no idea what
Chen G. 6,070 Posted April 19, 2024 Posted April 19, 2024 The opening chorus of Der Freischutz was stuck in my head since, last saturday night which was perhaps not the best timing, but worked out for the better.
mrbellamy 8,085 Posted June 23, 2025 Posted June 23, 2025 In honor of yesterday being the 10th anniversary of losing Horner. This has been getting stuck in my head a lot lately. Miss this dude all the time. eitam 1
