crocodile 9,206
I was somewhat aware of her in a The Rock-produced film Fighting with My Family where she plays a WWE wrestler. But then, it was Midsommar and then, shortly after, Little Women that really put her in spotlight. So that was 6 years ago. Seems like a very long time to me because a lot has happened in that time, both in my life and globally. So it doesn't feel to me like she's just appeared out of nowhere. #SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 10,935
Funny Thor* /Thor Ragnarok* Genuinely funny and at times clever film. Colourfull with fun production design. Thor is the God of Lightning and Thunder, nevertheless he gets tasered again. This happened in Thor also. Heimdall finally dumped his ridiculous armour. Idris Alba voices him differently too. The big revelation of this film is that Thor doesn't need his hammer. In Infinity War he does need a new hammer. The film actually has something to say about identity and colonialism. Nice. During the coronation in Thor, they've were hundreds of thousands of Asgardian citizens. In this film, few hundred? Times been bad on Asgard since 2011. Tom Hiddleston is hilarious in this. Loki genuinely is the most destructive villain of the MCU at this point

Edmilson 10,517
Bob Iger Says 'Thunderbolts*' Is 'First and Best' Example of Marvel's New Movie Strategy: 'We Lost a Little Focus by Making Too Much' “We’ve learned over time that quantity does not necessarily beget quality,” Iger said on Wednesday’s investor call. “Frankly, we’ve all admitted to ourselves that we lost a little focus by making too much. By consolidating a bit and having Marvel focus much more on their films, we believe it will result in better quality. I think the first and best example of that is ‘Thunderbolts*.’” https://variety.com/2025/film/news/bob-iger-thunderbolts-marvel-new-movie-strategy-1236389765/

Phase 4 was an unfocused mess. I honestly didn't know we were already into Phase 5. Covid and the streaming era probably had something to do with that. There's still plenty of worthwhile "content" gained though. Started to rewatch Moon Knight. Its really good. Stark
