Dixon Hill 4,234
I'm actually surprised there isn't something like that yet. On demand theaters. You can request screenings of whatever you like. Films are made for the cinema. Why limit their lifespan there?

Dixon Hill 4,234
You'd think that filmmakers, at least the ones who really care about format, would want to pioneer something like that even if it means accepting less royalties or something. The AFI in Silver Spring shows old films regularly and has programs where they screen several thematically related films over a course of a few months. Good stuff there. Makeshift Python 22
The only way to watch it in 3D is to get the 3D blu-ray and 3D TV, which I'm not interested. Plus, any chance to see a Hitchcock film on the big screen.
