The franchise has been dead for for almost 25 years since the first animated series ended. Except for a brief animated reprisal series in 1997, which was not lasting, there's been nothing. It should be sequel and have the original team pass the torch to the new team. They could have also done something to honor Harold Ramis by saying that Egon passed away due to medical issues or something.Basically do something like what Stargate Atlantis did with Don S. Davis character George Hammond after Don S Davis passed away.Anyways....at this point I'm not even going to bother with this craptacular of a reboot.
