Incanus 5,519
I have been watching the Film Music Masters documentary in honour of Goldsmith's birthday. It is a terrific look at his career and the way he works.
Uni 306
When I remembered today was his birthday, this was the first piece to pop into my head (couldn't say why): Still miss him terribly. Cheers, Mr. Maestro.

That has always struck me as weird.Goldsmith is a favourite of mine, no doubt, but all the worshipping of him -- especially at FSM -- has soured my relationship somewhat (yeah, I know, one shouldn't let such external factors influence one's own feelings, but there you go).Still, he's right up there, firmly in my Top 10 list, and although I've always found it almost equally weird to congratulate people on their birthdays after they've died, I see no problem in publically expressing my appreciation of his music once again!
