Anyone have mental problems?

I have OCD. And rituals. I check doors, the stove, car doors, the fridge, electric outlets, are the doors locked, is the toilet running, are the lights on a timer, I have to check everything in a certain order, it has to be the last thing I check before I leave so it doesn't have time to switch back because I can't trust myself that I didn't check it, do I have all my cards in my wallet, do I have all my camera cards, is everything in my pocket, oh Jesus Christ what if the doors unlocked themselves or I slept walked and unlocked the doors. I walk around a store paranoid I drop things out of my pocket. I keep an external drive with me with all my important photos and music, in case I'm robbed. I hate being the last person to leave somewhere like work because I fear the responsibility of locking up. And I don't trust anyone to tell me otherwise.

Nobody's going to want to steal your bloody CD collection.

I've heard stories about burglaries where the only thing the robbers didn't take was the CD collection.

That happened to me. While I've been at Disneyland, robbers broke into our house and took all the electronics, but left my John Williams collection.

When I was in Year 6 in 1997, kids were passing around The Lost World soundtrack thinking it'd be loaded with cool pop songs. Each of them were disappointed that all it had was "noise", so the same CD kept being given away to a friend.

So yeah, nobody wants your poofy film music crap!

Fucking hell!

LOL! :D

Perfect Response.

(BTW, not a mocking LOL).

I'm just as screwed up as some others here, but - "Fucking hell!" is sometimes all you can say when someone lists all their Achilles heel (or heels) in such a condensed way.

Well I had a little bit of peace after previous issues with the woman cleared up. But now I've received some very upsetting news about one of my best friends. Without saying any more, it's put me into a downright shitty state. This has not been a good month.

Since I've been on these meds, I wake up at like 4:30/5 in the morning and fall asleep early. I can't even make it through episodes of Star Trek after work or hang at Disneyland. This fucking sucks.

Anxiety. It sucks! And not social anxiety, I could speak in front of 500 people and not even break a sweat, but I'll lose sleep over the silliest things.

Same here. There was a point where I thought I was having a stroke or heart attack nearly every night. WebMD is the worst.

It is! I have chronic migraines and GERD and before I was diagnosed every time I had problems I was convinced it was a tumor and WebMD would always agree. Oh you coughed twice in a row? You're dying go to the ER.

I dabbled with WebMD a bit. Anything that's happening to you that's not normal usually results in their immediate advisory to seek medical help. I say trust in your body. You know it better than anyone and if you feel like something is wrong see a physician.

i agree with Meghan. Googling symptoms will lead to sleepless nights and worrying about death.

You can't really self diagnose anything anyway,

I googled my symptoms a lot, and I still never hit on Multiple Sclerosis.
