DreamTheater 131
I was just listening to the Kill Bill soundtrack a few days ago, The Last Shepherd played and I saw in the liner notes that the tune was written by James Last in 1974. Here we are a few days later, and I learn of the man's death.I for one love that song, and how Tarantino used it. Say what you will about the guy, but he has a knack for using the most appropriate music for any given scene.Anyway, R.I.P.
Romão 1,931
My father was a huge fan, I grew up with his music around the house. The album where the lonely shepherd debuted also had some terrific Russian folk songs (although with less than stellar arrangements), which have given me great joy to listen to once I found more genuine arrangements
