You have just put a lie to that claim - TWICE!

😅

I said "usually". I only replied to your post because you quoted me, which notifies me with that red number flag in the corner.

and Night Crossing.

The others are too intellectual for the task at hand and lack the symphonic oomph people usually love about JW.

NIGHT CROSSING?

If you have CAPRICORN ONE , you already have a superior version

The OST is s great starting point, but the C+C really opens this score up, and makes it breathe.

Brindle's right: it's not terribly accessible (there's a lot of Bartók, in it, especially HOT WATER), but it's definitely worth buying.

I also like the two source cues, by Ganymede.

Funny

I bought the expanded OUTLAND and CAPRICORN.

Neither added anything significant to the osts- which were well programmed and better overall listenability

I sold both and bought the GNP Crescendo CD with BOTH SCOREZ one CD!

The theme from the Walton's season 2, Lost in Space season 1 or 3 in some order, Alexander Courage's Star Trek Theme, and Mike Post's Rockford Files theme are all better.

I'm going bananas about Jerry Goldsmith, it's like if I just discovered the pandora box.

Listen to Capricorn One and The Twilight Zone Overture, the ending is Goldsmith Insanity.
