"The legendary London Symphony Orchestra, who you will remember recorded all previous episodes of the saga soundtracks but not the hotly anticipated forthcoming soundtrack for The Force Awakens, are still very much involved in matters relating to the galaxy far, far away. Yesterday Disney's Portfolio Creative Executive Scott Trowbridge revealed that the LSO have recorded the music for Season of the Force, to be heard in Disney Parks."

The LSO recorded music also for the revamped Star Tours a few years ago, so it's not the first time such a thing happens. It's nice to see they're still attached to Star Wars anyway. I guess it's a pretty sure thing they will also record Rogue One with Desplat.

As far as I know, no.

A Blu-Ray has been released in Japan, though, if you care about such trivial things: http://www.square-enix.co.jp/music/sem/page/fs_bdm/

The way the article is phrased, it sounds like the Blu-Ray will be the only physical format released, so no CD...

It doesn't actually really say anything. And Blu-ray audio is a rather rare format. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I thought the conductor in those photos of the recording sessions looked like William Ross. But I could be mistaken.

According to his website he conducted and arranged the music for Tokyo Disneyland Star Tours in 2013.
