Best Themes/Melodies/Motifs of 2015

I would like this to be an ongoing compendium to quote and assemble the best the year has to offer. It might be a chance to mention some scores which are not broadly discussed and get theme recommendations.

While referring to themes it would be better to give exact timings.

I'll start with a few which stuck out for me so far.

Athena's Theme (2:26-4:40)

That's actually not Athena's theme, that's the main theme from the film. Athena's theme is heard for example at the beginning of A Story About The Future or at 02:58 in End Credits.

when I think back to the movie, I think you might be right but I don't think this theme is the main theme either. This is more like the Athena/Frank love theme or relationship theme. It always seemed to play when when the pair were on screen and it receives its most emotional statement during Athena's death scene.

I think the main theme (the theme for Tomorrowland) is the one which starts of the end credits (0:00-0:25)

I think the idea that represents Tomorrowland would be the main theme of the movie so I think its one of the two above, perhaps both but probably not the Athena/Frank love theme.

Lol, that theme is a masterpiece. The one from UNCLE isn't nearly in the same ballpark but its still quite good.

I haven't seen the movie, so I don't know what the theme represents, but 0:12-1:13 is the sort of film music you just don't hear anymore, and that's sad.

1:25 - 2:00 (A fun theme, and nicely explored too in only 35 seconds. The theme starts on woodwind with string counterpoint, then goes to choir maintaining the string counterpoint, then the brass comes in to play with the fuller orchestra and choir.)

8:55 - 11:10 (My favourite presentation of any theme for a long time. I find this breathtaking. It feels old, it feels like it could be Debussy. Wonderful.)

I really enjoyed what Doyle did with the dancing nature of Cinderella. Full of Waltzes and Polka's specifically written by him. Gorgeous Score.
