Lol. I just saw that. Why?

"COVID? Shoot. Let's delay until May 2021."

"You know, let's give the people what they want. Let's move it up 2 months!"

"Ah damn, actually that was too soon. We need another week."

I'm excited! I'm speculating that some of the younger cast members in Godzilla vs Kong, including MBB, Shun Oguri and Elza Gonzalez are being set up as potential characters in the show. Might not be, but it'd make sense. I can see it being modelled somewhat on the cartoon show following the 1998 movie.

Idk. Maybe. I just haven't really ever gotten into expanded universe content. Never seen any of the Marvel or Star Wars TV shows. I don't read novelizations or spin-off comics. I'd prefer, if it's a meaningful story, for them to find a way to include it in a film. Mandalorian is the first expanded universe show I've heavily considered, and even that I haven't started yet.

This stuff just doesn't tend to interest me.

Expanded Universe stuff is mainly non-essential stuff to give fans a fix. Certain fandoms do it for me, others don't.

I suppose I don't feel like a need a fix for anything then I guess? Lol.

They probably won't have the budget to put kaijus in the show, so it'll be mostly about Monarch chasing that boring Charles Dance organization episode after episode.

And he’s not even in the new film.

Ah yes, Godzilla v. Kong, 592 U.S. __ (2021) (Gorsuch) (5-4) (Thomas, Alito, Kagan, Barrett dissenting). The Supreme Court held that the degree of coercion or force used by Kong against Godzilla was proportional to the threat. Similarly, the Court also held that Kong's escalation of force against Godzilla was strictly in response to the enormous threat Godzilla posed to planet Earth's cities and denizens (as clearly evidenced in the trailer).

Legal scholars are already hailing this as a landmark ruling.
