Your Favorite Film Composer "Songs"

Wow, listened to this song since I was little, didn't know that JNH composed this song (learned something knew everyday)..

I'd never heard it before the concert. It was ok, I guess, but too cheesy for me. Like those pop versions of their film songs that Disney like to put in the end credits.

I thought that was Roger Waters' own song?

Perhaps it is, I don't know - I still don't have an original copy of the score (I think I never came across the European release). It uses Morricone's theme, at least.

I like the song, and Waters sounds wonderfully haunting there.

I can't believe we are 52 posts in and no one has mentioned this, most perfect composition by James Horner, Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil. Oscar nominated and (IMO) James Horner's most beautiful song.

Yeah, that's a great one. I've been trying to learn the male part myself over the last year or so (for those who don't know, I'm interested in singing), but it's very difficult -- especially the second voice in the duet chorus.
