Message from Keith Lockhart.
It is a great pleasure and honor for me to introduce music from Star Wars: The Force Awakens, to be performed in Hyogo PAC's Silvester Concert.

I owe this opportunity to the generosity and cooperation of my longtime friend John Williams. As you may know, he was my predecessor as Conductor of the Boston Pops, and his music remains very important in our repertoire. This will be the world-premiere concert performance of the new score -- I hope you enjoy John's latest work, performed with a full-sized orchestra, live in concert!

Thanks. Here's the full program:

Josef Suk - Towards A New Life
Dave Brubeck - Blue Rondo a la Turk
Chris Brubeck - Spontaneous Combustion
James Horner - My Heart Will Go On
James Horner - Somewhere Out There
John Williams - Cantina Band from Star Wars
John Williams - Themes from Star Wars
John Williams - Main Title from Star Wars

I assume that "Themes from Star Wars" will include at least one piece from TFA, but the title(s) have not yet been announced, right?

Also:

This will be the world-premiere concert performance of the new score

World premiere by an orchestra, that is, since the actual world premiere was performed by the U.S. Army Field Band earlier this week.
