Daniel Craig looks like he spends all day working out, tanning and getting waxed. Previous Bonds had more realistic and relatable slim figures with hairy chests. But now because Daniel Craig walks around in a speedo, Bond has been validated as serious entertainment.

He literally spends all day working out - 12 hours a day for Bond 25.

Joe Kraemer would've made a good score.

YES!

I'll honestly be surprised if Kraemer ever scores another big studio movie again.  I mean, I'm not happy about it, that's just my prediction.

I hope he does but the path to do so doesn't seem clear does it :(

Because of his "fallout" with McQuarrel?

If the opportunities didn't arise following Rogue Nation then either (a) he isn't actively pursuing them, which is fine if it's his choice or (b) the people in charge just aren't interested in which case I say FOR SHAME, HOLLYWOOD!  FOR SHAME!

It's definitely B and not A

Don't forget, he almost scored Rogue One until Disney chose Giacchino over him

That kind of thing is just industry speak for juicing. Something like stacked anabolic steroids + human growth hormone for gainz and later a fat burner for da shredz. It's an open secret.

If I were Craig I’d be happy to give up Bond just to break from that cycle.  Maybe eat nothing but cakes and pies for a while!

Wasn't he happy to leave after Spectre, but was offered a massive cash-load to jump back in for one more?

Oh LAAAAME, they're not even gonna reveal the title.  Psh.

Rami Malek confirmed as the baddie.

Jeffrey Wright returning as Leiter!

The livestream was lame and I closed it after 3 minutes.

I still think Craig is cool in the role, I just also very much enjoy the other versions.

He's good. But I feel he's brought nothing fresh to the role since Casino Royale. That's his best performance. And after that, I don't think the material has ever leaned on him that heavily. I'd argue Dench and Bardem carried Skyfall which is his most critically acclaimed film. Those were the 2 getting award nominations for Skyfall whereas he was the one who got nominations for Casino Royale. So yeah, he offered nothing new after CR.

I really hope David Arnold's agent is earning their money right now, campaigning for him to get back in the franchise. I think Newman's said everything he had to say with his two scores (fortunately Mendes is out of the equation) and Arnold is clearly the best placed composer to take on the job.

Make it happen, Broccoli!

Didn't Arnold only not do Skyfall and Spectre because Mendes specifically wanted Newman?

You'd think they'd love to have him back, as the 'modern original' Bond composer. Depends whether they're trying to move things on, creatively.

The synopsis there ... the beginning of the movie apparently finds Bond retired from active duty and living in domestic bliss with SPECTRE's Madeline. Given how 007's previous attempts at a 'settled' life turned out and the fact that music from OHMSS was used during yesterday's live stream, I'd say it doesn't look good for her.

I like how Fukunaga is very careful to say NEXT chapter here and not FINAL chapter.

Quote

“Daniel is my favourite Bond,” the director said. “I want to continue that. I want to make sure this run of films which have been fantastic have a really great next chapter.”

The eyes....the eyes....they haunt my nightmares....

He'll have to requisition a new one from Q branch then.

007 has fired a gun so much, it's a wonder he hasn't succumbed to loud, intrusive, high pitched ringing in his ears that would eventually send him insane.

Of course it's harmful, that's why 007 gets replaced every so many years.
