STOP THE PRESSES!

I just noticed something, Khazad-Dum on the CR is microedited, some bars are snipped out at about 2:01, its about 0:09 seconds long.

I noticed this while ripping the EE DVD's, you can hear the missing material in the Previz

there is a bit of Amon Hen/Prologue and a variation of the footsteps of doom end cap with choir in the prologue storyboard.

(though you all probably knew this already)

Alright gang, I have a question about Asea Aranion and The Houses of Healing:

Does anyone know: if one were to edit Asea Aranion into its original placement into the houses of healing track, where would AA flow into HOH? would the held note from AA flow into the bit where Pippin finds Merry like in the EE fan credits?

and where does the actual Asea Aranion start?

I would assume the first 19 seconds of HOH would segue into Asea Aranion, correct?

Also about Arwen's Song, how much of The Grace of Undomiel would be "replaced"? would it just replace the first part of the track, before the strings start as Arwen rides back to Rivendell?

Wasn't Arwen's Song originally supposed to be used in lieu of The Grace Of The Valar (heard in Arwen's Fate) in The Two Towers (that is to say for the scene when Arwen is leaving Rivendell at night)?

Yes, (except for the same scene as in ROTK, placed AFTER she leaves with all the elves at night) but the scene was moved to ROTK.

THEN, the filmmakers had second thoughts, thinking that having Arwen singing over her own vision was a bit....weird, so they had shore write Twilight and Shadow, and added it in.

which bumped Arwen's Song into The Houses of Healing, which bumped Asea Aranion into the credits.

Prologue one ring to rule them all, has a short microedit in the Ringwraith theme buildup before the Evil of the Ring theme, the section that was removed is in the chapter menus, a friend of mine who is a big LOTR fan sent this track to me, and for the longest time I had no idea what was different about it, but now, thanks to the thread about the film edits, that are on the FOTR CR, I know what it is.

I don't know about ROTK, I doubt it, they seemed to have done a better job including everything on the TTT CR.

The files I have are from a rip of the PS2 version of the game, the files are in MIB format, the cutscenes are .ss2's

However the percussion filled theatrical ending of The Forest of Ithillien is on there I believe.

It also has a fragment of The Doors of Durin, I believe with that piece, DVD rip, and the CR, it would be clean.
