Seprequel news, Nicholas Britell is going to compose the next film. First time a non-RCP composer has handled one of the films in the franchise.

A few months ago it was reported that Zimmer & Britell would work together. But I guess that has changed then.

Two years later: it looks like Zimmer dropped out before production began. Nicholas Britell is apparently still on board but main composing responsibilities are now upon David Metzger. Lin Manuel Miranda is also composing the film's songs, and they are produced by Mark Mancina. Lebo M is providing vocal performances.

The trailers do, but that's not indicative that the film will.

Wouldn’t be surprised if they use some of the themes from the original and 2019 films, though.
