ESB Yoda>>>>>TPM Puppet>CGI in my opinion.

I'll give you the ESB puppet but TPM puppet is just awful.

But anyway, CGI Yoday is in TPM for ever anyway so I win!

The name of Yoda's race has never been revealed, am I right?

It hasn't been, no.

I doubt it ever will be either.

I'm sure it will be in It's Not Easy Being Green: A Star Wars Story, the spin-off about Yoda.

The original title for Star Wars was The Journal of the Whills. I believe Yoda was/is a Whill.

I believed that for a long time too.

Palpatine's first name was never supposed to be revealed either., but as soon as Disney took the reigns, they allowed his first name to be revealed. I'm sure if it becomes relevant they'll do the same with Yoda's species.

Palpatine?

Sheev Palpatine. As revealed in the James Luceno book, Tarkin.

I'm guessing Luceno wanted to put this in the Darth Plagueis novel but Lucas said no.

I prefer Yoda from the Al Williamson comic adaptation of Empire, which is certainly the book (or books) I've spent the most time staring at in my life. His appearance and size alter throughout.

I imagine Disney MUST change something before releasing expanded versions of Star Wars music.

After all, they have to get rid of the 20th Century Fox Fanfare!

So if they're changing something anyway, they might as well do it properly. :P

Uh, excuse me. Mr. Skywalker? That's not entirely accurate. Rick McCallum referred to him as a frogling back in the days of the prequels.

That's the first time it popped up in an in-universe book, but that's a George Lucas original which had been sitting around Lucasfilm for years, per a Luceno interview around the time of the book's release.

I didnt knew that. It always seemed wrong to me to release palpatine's name after so many years.

He should have been called that in TPM, when he was a mere senator that could be called by name by people, ie Queen Amidala,.
