Popular Post publicist 4,643
Nice thread on FSM: Quote Agent Richard Kraft, of Kraft-Engel Management, has been a prolific contributor to the group. In addition to sharing generously with emerging composers his insights into the industry, Richard has written several heartfelt tributes and inspiring tales about his relationships with many great film composers. These include:HOW “SCARY GOLDSMITH” BECAME JUST JERRYhttp://perspectiveforum.net/2016/05/21/how-scary-goldsmith-became-just-jerry/MY SAVIOR, ELMER BERNSTEINhttp://perspectiveforum.net/2016/05/22/my-savior-elmer-bernstein/FINDING FAMILY WITH BASIL POLEDOURIShttp://perspectiveforum.net/2016/05/22/finding-family-with-basil-poledouris/THE BEYONDNESS OF THINGS: MY BITTERSWEET RELATIONSHIP WITH BARRY. TownerFan 4,983
Wonderful read. I hope Kraft is considering writing a book about working with these giants.
Incanus 5,714
An excellent read. Thanks for the heads-up pub! And the book would not be a bad idea at all. It would certainly be interesting, Goldsmith alone would guarantee that as I am sure there are tons of stories about the Scary Goldsmith and his eventual mellowing out. publicist 4,643
Though i get a chuckle out of Kraft being fired by Elmer Bernstein, too. All these guys - Williams probably is no exception - were though cookies if they wanted and it surely wasn't always easy to deal with them.
