An actor who never became a big star, but was always noteworthy because of his simply epic charisma. Even in his very small role in Nixon he brought something to the table. I also remember him as Philip Marlowe, on television, in the mid-80s, and in SOUTHERN COMFORT, and EXTREME PREJUDICE. Another fine talent gone far too early. R.I.P., Mr. Boothe.
