He is battling multi channels sound effects and dialogue so he has to find breathing spaces to write to. TFA had some great brass flourishes that did remind me of is 80s style of scoring but most of it was in the same prequel idiom of orchestrations. Alex Neciosup Acuna and Paulinho da Costa. I have no idea who these guys are ! Actor Benicio El Torro was also attending the sessions! Just based on Johnson's general style and how responsive Williams usually is to directors' individual tastes, I feel like along with all the usual tropes, both film and music have potential for a bit more idiosyncratic highlights compared to TFA and probably whatever Trevorrow does.
