filmmusic 1,823
I'm listening to Meeting E.T. alternate. Strange. The cue should start from 0.17'' and on according to sheet music. The first seconds seems an alternate "alternate beginning", with clarinet instead of flute. i guess they found this alternate insert, and decided to put it there. There are quite a few instances in cd releases where inserts are placed in some random or not place, so as not to be alone tracks of a few seconds. And i think this is the case here. 0.00-0.16 is meant to replace 0.17-0.26. And that's why the alternate is longer than the cue in CD1. Not complaining.. just saying. Josh500 1,615
As much as I like the cover art itself, I'm not sure whether I don't prefer the original movie poster cover art for the complete E.T. score album. Jay 37,287
Usually the labels put the original LP cover on the back cover of the booklet, if they don't use it for a new release. That could be the case here. Josh500

Popular Post filmmusic 1,823
Listened to the Halloween sample. This is my favourite spot with the preparing of the main theme. Got goosebumps and wanted to cry! Can't believe that this film and this score get me still, no matter how many times I'll watch/listen to it. it's the film that I mostly relate to, that's why it's my favourite of all time. Alone (E.T.) in an alien and maybe hostile world (earth) searching for some love... Smeltington, Jay and phbart
