This is the NSA. We don't do that sort of thing.

Actually, it's "We are the United States government."

The NSA are the others. They're the good guys, Marty.

Interesting to see that Avatar made it to your top five list. To me, Braveheart is a sooo much more interesting listen.

1. Titanic

2. Aliens

3. Star Trek: The Search for Spock - just for 'Stealing the Enterprise' track alone!

4. Star Trek: The Wrath of Khan

5. Split between The Pelican Brief & Sneakers

Tough as JH has produced great scores!

No order:
The Perfect Storm

Searching For Bobby Fischer

Titanic

Living In The Age of Airplanes

Braveheart

But that's not to slight any other titles by any means.

A pretty decent list.  The Wrath of Khan and Glory are definitely two very good works in my book.

2. Apollo 13

3. Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan

4. The Amazing Spider-Man

5. Titanic

Never been much of a Horner junkie. His music never appealed to me the way Williams or Goldsmith's does.

Thank you very much Steve McQueen for your words. If some day there is a post for the 10 or 15 best soundtracks of him, I will also fill them ;)

I've looked into James Horner's work (mostly through watching the movies), and I've decided not to start collecting James Horner at this point. Who knows, maybe later.

I've my hands full right now collecting John Williams and Jerry Goldsmith (although I somewhat only rarely listen to Goldsmith).
