Jurassic Shark 12,033
While we're nearing Black Friday, I found it fitting to give Black Sunday another listen on Spotify. I've found it offered for an OK price at a Scandinavian music store, but I'm not sure I think it's an essential JW score. What do you think? PS: I'm not a completist - I only buy soundtracks I'm actually going to listen to.
publicist 4,643
It's his most Goldsmith-ian score.
Jay 37,319
It's never gone Out of Print and you can still buy it at its original retail price from its original retailer http://www.screenarchives.com/title_detail.cfm/ID/13395/
JoeinAR 1,949
Not really worth obtaining unless you are ocd about collecting Not Mr. Big
Not Mr. Big 4,639
It's one of my least favorite post-Jaws Williams scores. Kind of dry and monochrome if that makes any sense. I much prefer Munich in the political thriller category.

Not all of the music is equally exciting, but the fugue stuff and some of those jagged 70s paranoia elements are well worth having. The old Silva suite was representative of the score, but now that it has its own soundtrack, I'd recommend it. A somewhat different side of Williams. Bespin 8,480
Well, for me the cases "unreleased" scores is particular. When I write "unreleased", I mean of course, unreleased at the time of the movie release. There are now a couple of UFOS like this in John Williams's discography... Are they all of the same valor or interest? Well, that's a matter of taste. But knowing that "Black Sunday" can still be found at 19,99 $USD, it's tempting. Wojo 2,453
Black Sunday is like JW took his Obi-wan sneaking around music from Star Wars and built a score around that.
crocodile 7,988
It's the only true action thriller score of his career. That in itself makes it unique. Karol
