If there could be only one John Williams Album.

Here is an extremely difficult exercise : If there could be only one.

Only one album of John Williams, the best, or just the one that touches you the most, or the first you heard and triggered your passion.

You choose what you want.

For me, it will be my first shock, when I discovered Star Wars with Return of the Jedi at the theater, at 9 years old.

So, the original album from 1983 of Return of the Jedi!

Connor MacLeod.

Well, OK, I'm sorry.

I'd probably have one of those big, multi-disc compilations. Unless that's considered cheating.

If a single score only, then the OST of JURASSIC PARK.

Your question is basically "what is your favourite John Williams score/soundtrack?".

Jurassic Park.

The Skywalker Symphony was my first CD ever and I listened it to it to death, but if The Star Wars Trilogy let me a glimpse inside the world of soundtracks and offered a first contact with the orchestral world of JW, then JP was the one that kicked in that same door with full force.
