King Mark 3,615
why can't we have the John Williams collection on c.d. instead of having to buy the whole box. I'd get that mstrox and Arpy
rough cut 1,709
Yes, give it to us as a CD, I’d buy it in a sec. Or at least lossless download!
King Mark 3,615
This is actually the ultimate JW Lost in Space release I want but it's useless as a vinyl Bespin and mstrox

Incanus 5,713
Ditto. Sorry to sound like a wet blanket but a CD release would have been so much more preferable to this. Arpy

Arpy 4,145
Looks like the future of filmscores is on vinyl. Fuck. Bespin

Unlucky Bastard 7,782
Used to be easy when I had an Aldi computer with a built-in RCA input.
Richard Penna 3,617
Next we'll get the OT expanded on cassette. Personally I never want to see one of those horrible things ever again. I never even played LPs and there's no way in hell I'm going from flac files to them.

Nick1Ø66 4,664
That’s Johnny Williams. Please correct the thread title. Thank you. And until they’ve corrected the name on the packaging, NO SALE. So here’s my offer for this set: nothing. Not even the price of the turntable to play it on, which I’d appreciate if “Spacelab 9" put up personally.
Brundlefly 2,382
Soon we are going to drown in LP soundtrack releases.
mstrox 6,612
Can't afford the big ol' box, especially for the amount I care about Lost in Space, but I would snap up the Johnnnny Williams LIS collection on CD.

MrScratch 294
It wouldn't surprise me if they released this on CD at some point. In the meantime, I'll take that cool album cover art for my iTunes.
mstrox 6,612
I’d say the possibility of this on CD is 0% as long as the LLL box is in print

Toillion 210
I know very little about the music for this or about the show in general. That said, I still like to collect as much as Williams’ scores on vinyl as possible. I haven’t look much into this 4 LP set but there is a title being released for RSD in April. I was excited to see two titles getting a release but looking into this Lost in Space one I’m not so sure about it as a Williams fan. There is only one side of music and it totals only around 8 minutes. anyone have any thoughts on this release that knows more about the music? https://recordstoreday.com/SpecialRelease/14694
Jay 37,042
It's just a selection of Williams tracks pulled from LLL's 12-CD boxset, just like SpaceLab9's 4-LP set was
Toillion 210
So I guess this is a very very small selection lol.
