I have a new CD out!

Sorry guys, this is a shameless plug! My new CD "Spacehead" just came out last week, and I'm in the ugly process of promoting it. Right now it's available on iTunes, CDBaby, Spotify, and YouTube, and should be up on Amazon in a week or so. It's essentially a pop album with vocals and various instruments - mostly piano and keyboards, but guitar and violin make the odd appearanc. It's very retro 70s/80s in style, because my influences are people like Kraftwerk, Gary Numan, Alan Parsons, Sufjan Stevens, Brian Eno, Todd Rundgren, Peter Gabriel etc. There are a couple of instrumentals in there if you're not so into the pop thing (Wickliffe and Constellations). There are certainly plenty of film score moments, especially in the instrumental tracks. I'd be honored if you'd check it out. I'm attaching a link below. If I'm not allowed to post links, just Google "James Leatherbarrow Spacehead" and you should find the CDBaby page, or type it into YouTube.

If you know anyone who's into that kind of thing, I'd be grateful if you'd mention it to them.

I like that. Listening right now on spotify and my first reaction (I didn't read your entire post) was " '70s like but with modern sounds". I'm especially impressed with the backing vocals (on Castles On The Moon, for example).  Thor should like this too!

No, but you can hear the entire thing on YouTube for free. Or if you have a Spotify account, that works, too.

I'm just taking the piss. :) Good luck with it! Sound interesting.
