So probably a few short edits made to the film after the score was recorded, hence the slightly shorter runtime of the film score. 17 minutes ago, Jim Ware said: The Decision and End Credits (11:35) Ooooh, yes! crumbs 14,300
There's only actually 27 minutes of original score; the entire end credits suite is an edit of existing tracks.

That’s probably the reason why JW chose to shuffle tracks for the official OST album (“The Presses Roll” is indeed track 2). I truly hope JW went in his full NBC “Meet the Press” style for those cues.

Most of these awards are all political and predictable, based on many outside factors before the quality of the thing nominated. Also, theoretically, its awarding now effective the score is in the film, which may not translate to an effective album. filmmusic
Taikomochi 1,136
If JW won for The Post, it would have nothing to do with the quality of the score. It's not the subject matter that will get him the win if he wins, but the man who is president. Same film with Hillary as president and I don't think we would even be discussing the possibility that he might win. So I think if either of Spielberg Streep or Williams win for Post, they might wanna consider thanking him at the podium, that is - after viciously tearing him apart. Nomination I can understand if there was no one better to nominate, but from what I remember there were so many more worthy nominations that year that I don't believe she was nominated in any other awards show for acting, be it Oscar, Bafta, screen actors guild award or anything. Also saying give another award to Streep, well, Streep doesn't actually have that many Oscars, she's been nominated so many times like Williams and rightly so. However if you are not going to give the oscar or other award to streep, the alternative better damn well deserve it acting wise. It's like When Memoirs of a Geisha got snubbed over Brokeback Mountain. Love Brokeback Mountain as a film but for score? Really? 13 minutes of music of which most of it was ad libbed by a guitar player? WTH!!! lol 18 minutes ago, Kostov said: If not for TLJ, at least we get something from The Post.
