It is a viable project, I think it's in post-production right now.

I came across this news when perusing through the acting credits of Xander Berkley who portrays Tedesco in the film.

I assume this is a biopic of Castelnuovo-Tedesco.

Also, I didn't know there was a composer named Jerry herst. I thought he was an imaginative character.

it's very funny. Just a couple of days ago i was thinking about Tedesco and I was curious to listen to what film music he wrote.

I watched some main titles from some films he had scored in youtube.

Also,I wonder if they took williams' permission to depict him in the film.

Olivia De Havilland just recently sued over her portrayal in that Feud series.

I'm sure there shouldn't be anything negative with the portrayal of his character but still..

Another thing I wonder is, how can a film about a film composer keep the interest of the viewer, unless there is a personal turmoil, or conflicts etc.

I'm guessing it will be a very minor role.

I don't know how many of you know already, but a biopic on Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco (the Italian emigrée who taught composition to John Williams and Jerry Goldsmith among many others) has just been released in the US. Here's a trailer:

According to the IMDb credits list, there are actors portraying Williams, Goldsmith, Andrè Previn, Henry Mancini, Stanley Kubrick and Igor Stravinskij :)

Xander Berkeley and Sarah Clarke played the two villains in the first couple of seasons of 24! Great, all the time while watching this, I'm gonna keep wondering what Jack Bauer is up to!

Xander Berkley's character wasn't a villain, he was the head of CTU who sacrifices his life to save Jack's

Yeah, that's right!

At one point I think we were led to believe he's a mole or a villain, but he turned out to be one of the good guys!

It has had no wide release yet, AFAIK, nor do I think it will ever be. Doubtful I'll be able to see it untill it (hopefully) is released in streaming format, or on physical format.

This is actually the third thread on the same film!

OK, they are all merged now.

It's like merging the Star Wars prequels movies into one big giant mess! :D

Funnily enough Mario is mentioned in Rozsa's Autobiography, which I am reading.

How is the book?
