srg 0
Nice. Alternate cue for Luke's death at 4:10. The version that ended up in the film is much better IMO, more emotional.
Popular Post Arpy 4,159
Thanks for sharing, the ending with Williams acknowledging the 360 camera is brilliant! "Is that a character in the film?". Taikomochi, rpvee, Cerebral Cortex and 1 other
MikeH 799
That was amazing!
Not Mr. Big 4,742
Awesome! It seems there's been more extra stuff for this score than any other John Williams score (in terms of "promo content") (for such a short span of time).
Nick Parker 3,047
Even with a longer span of time, it's hard to think of a John Williams score with as much luxury treatment...it's like they're treating him as some kind of legend or something! Jay 39,768
That smile on his face during the recording of the Canto Bight source music is great! As is the bit at the end when he noticed the camera. Really cool!
Not Mr. Big 4,742
I love that all-choir rendition of the rock lifting music from "The Last Jedi" Arpy and Cerebral Cortex
crumbs 14,905
Yeah I can't tell if that's an alternate or just how it sounded on the recording stage before it was mixed? Arpy
Marian Schedenig 9,156
What does it do? Can it conduct?
Henry Sítrónu 528
LOL. German chancellor Angela Merkel showed kind of a similar hilarious reaction to a 360 camera once. Journalists had to explain it to her. Gurkensalat
Dr. Rick 1,207
What an awesome video! It truly gives you the feeling of being there in the recording studio. JW's bit at the end was absolutely hilarious!
Chen G. 4,728
I really like his analogy to a musical. Now that I think about it, the Star Wars scores, especially the early, formative ones, do fit more into the template of a musical than an opera or symphony. You have big, flashy tunes, pervasive main themes and - in the early scores - a lot of setpiece-specific material.

Damien F 1,777
When John first notices the camera at the end, I'm reminded of Ian Malcolm tapping on the car's camera in Jurassic Park.
