I have never seen Buck Rogers. Is it good?

Good?  Well, maybe if you grew up with it. Objectively in 2025?  No, I can’t recommend you blind buy it.  It’s campy, dated, oozing 70s disco aesthetic, with lots of sex and spandex. A GREAT theme by Stu Phillips and Glen Larson.

BUT… it may be worth a look. There’s an irresistible charm and friendliness in it. Warm and approachable in contrast to the dark and disturbing stuff we get now.  Just don’t expect to take it seriously.

He was a handsome man I see..

I can’t help but smile at your phrasing. That’s almost verbatim how his robot friend Dr. Theopolis describes him upon first meeting him.

SO good!

RIP Mr. Gerard.

Lee Majors lives.

Glen Larson also got a co-credit for writing the theme to Battlestar Galactica.  Now, I'm the biggest Stu Phillips fan, and have read his biography, but it's unclear how much Larson, who was musically inclined and had a band, contributed to that theme.  He may have had a knack for memorable tunes more than we know.

I have Star Trek The original series, and I enjoyed it. Maybe it's along the lines of that one? Or maybe worse?

Although I'm not sure I'm very keen on the 70s disco aesthetic.

Oh, no! Give me Mariangela Melato,  in FLASH GORDON, any day.

If we’re switching to Flash Gordon then it simply has to be Ornella Muti!!

For those unfamiliar with the Buck Rogers feature film edit, the opening credits are definitely Bond inspired.  Features the lyrics @Tallguy was quoting.  An awesome pop theme.

They’re action figures!

Don't tell me they got to you... How much are they paying you to call them "action figures"??

Bardot and her singing gave me Vanessa Paradis vibes...
