At least he lived to see Krasznahorkai get a Nobel prize.

If you need to post a link to tell people who he was, then I dont think a lot of people will care.

Like film composers. Why would anyone know those people?

That's a name I've seen many times but haven't thought about in a while. Has incidental music/score from Fairly Oddparents ever been made available? I know there was an album of songs recently.

The Thing cast down by one.

Kurt Russell and Keith David are well, I hope.

He was in The Corner (A David Simon series right before he made The Wire), but I never watched that.

I might have a book by him somewhere. Or had one, at least. My grandparents gave it to me at some point. I've never read it; even as a teenager I was too weirded out by the guy to do that.

Kind of a nut. But there are lots of nuts who still have jobs. He was just the wrong kind of nut.

Wow. Nothing about WHY his strip stopped running in 2023.

Anyway, this is a strip that I have been referencing for at least 25 years.

Whoa, hadn't expected that. When I first came across Dilbert, I didn't find it very funny. Then after several years working in IT, it suddenly all made sense to me, and I actively followed it for a long time - until Adams went all weird during the pandemic and I mostly lost interest again.

I checked her filmography to see which films of her I've seen:

I've only seen Home Alone 1 & 2 and Beetlejuice

(and if we count The Nightmare before Christmas too, where she added her voice).

But I was surprised to see she was also in Dick Tracy, which I've also seen.

Did she have a speaking part? I don't remember her at all!

Just got the notification Catherine O'Hara, Emmy-winning actor and comedian who... and went "oh NO"

Same. :(

I grew up watching her on the Canadian sketch comedy show 'SCTV.' A brilliant comedic actress.

Yes, that's right. RIP Catherine O'Hara.

Yeah, and I'm certainly not doing that! :(

But that is a subject for another thread.

OMG!

I was watching Dawson's Creek (not from the beginning), and I found myself many times crying with the series. (yes, I was that sensitive back then).

I don't think I had seen him in anything else.

Whenever I hear of  a man die in such age, I always fear that I might get the same illness too! :(

His best role was a fictional version of himself in the television series "Don't Trust The Bitch In Apartment 23"
