Popular Post tintacle 314
Quote I'd absolutely give all endorsement and thanks I could to the artist, but I found these years ago (maybe on the shrine, but not sure), so I've no idea. I feel the OT ones are much stronger, in colour, scene and compositional choices. They're all nice to look at but probably won't be the ones I'd actually print to put in the jewel case of these. They fit better into Poweramp to represent my (temporary until a proper release) edits. That was me, yeah a long time ago and on the shrine. And thanks for the kind words Since I posted them a long time ago, it was a good time to do a quick revisit. So here are the updated ones, with a few changes added: EDIT: Since the assembly line style isn't my cup of tea, they all have their original poster logos now. Except for The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker, those I made from scratch inspired by Jim Titus' ideas and my own personal taste. Feel free to use them if you want Pieter Boelen, Ricard, Loert and 9 others

greenturnedblue 372
I would be fine having the sequels with the logo in between 'star wars', the prequels with the big 'episode' logo and the OT with their individual logos The Illustrious Jerry and Ricard

Pieter Boelen 740
Did anyone ever make a series of matching covers based on the Struzan (and similar) posters for the entire series (including Rogue One and Solo)? I like the layout, especially the upper half. Not a fan of losing the alien, but recropping will always have its sacrifices and moving him up would just make him cover up the DS eye or be an afterthought in the corner if downsized. rough cut 1,714
I like the work you did on the font, that must’ve taken some time! : ) But I must admit, in terms of sheer coolness, it’s hard to beat the original hungerian title A Jedi Visszater. tintacle 314
I did a series for Rogue One back when it came out a few years ago, so I might as well share them right The first cover uses one of (if not the first) official poster released, which is the one I think they should've used for the official cover. #2 was my attempt to recreate the simplicity of the first vinyl release of Star Wars, with the symbol of the Rebel Alliance added behind the logo. #3 uses an image of what could've been one of the more iconic shots in the film, and what most of the entire marketing campaign was based on, sadly we never got to see it (only shown in the trailers). #4 was an idea to make it look like a booklet for Plans to the Death Star. #5 is just a simple addition, which would probably work best for the FYC. #6 again uses a great shot of, well, yeah him Sadly it was also only shown in the trailers. #7 is based on Chris Alcock's artwork. #8 is based on Kevin Tiernan's artwork. #9 and 10 uses screenshots taken from the trailers, and because they feature the Death Star I wanted to emphasize one thing director Gareth Edwards is brilliant at (e.g. Godzilla); showcasing the scale/size of it, so it was critical for me that the logo and text appear tiny in comparison. #11 was another attempt at making a Plans to the Death Star cover. #12 is based on the fantastic IMAX poster. #13 was meant as an alternate to the official cover. #14 is part of my Olly Moss series. #15 was a request as an alternate for my Nicolas Alejandro Barbera series. #16 is of course part of the Signature Collection seen above. And the final version is part of my Steelbook series. Star Wars covers collection. The Illustrious Jerry
