Confession time: I have an obsession with accumulation. I like big numbers, so that Leaderboard on JWfan is like a scoreboard in a sports game to me. I only have less than a thousand posts until I overtake Alex, but then it's a long and lonely road to beating Koray Savas (how the hell did he get up there? I barely see him post).

Sure I'll never reach the monumental heights that Stefan, Jay and BloodBoal have achieved in their respective categories, I was perhaps never meant to. And Disco Stu has a remarkable reaction count when you consider his relatively low post count and short membership duration. He's a champion in the making, that fella! Someone should write a comprehensive performance analysis of his popularity at JWfan.

That's the thing: Like to postcount ratios are more telling than sheer numbers alone ;)

That's because Jay agrees on everything the guy writes.

Anyway, JWFan has a leaderboard?

Bear in mind that mainstay members are at their most prolific in the early years of their tenure. Couple that with the fact that the upvoting feature at JWFan is relatively very new and came online roughly around about the same time as Stu did, and I think it becomes clearer as to how these things work.

Many older longstanding members would have had unassailable leads on your precious leaderboard, had it been around from much earlier on. You too would have been right up there, Drax.

Excellent analysis! Worthy of Five Thirty Eight.

Except I haven't been around here that long. I only joined in December 2002, while the true veterans here were here from May 2002 or even earlier.

I'm happy with just around 1500posts/year and around 4posts/like.*

I'd be much more impressed with the performance of crumbs than myself.  He has only about 50% of my postcount, but 75% of my reaction points.  Much better ratio of liked posts!

I'd also like to point out that I'm pretty sure the reaction system was around for like 4 years before I joined.

I joined in 2005 and I can't remember an upvote feature being around then or until many years later on, after numerous site upgrades.

I'm not saying it's been a feature for a long time, but the leaderboard's "all-time" window goes back to 2012 and I joined in 2016.  Plenty of time when Drax could've been rackin' up the likes if he wanted!

Yes, we're all very proud of you Disco Stu. ;)

Hey!  That's not what I meant!

Four years is a drop in the ocean here though. It's been around six years since the Ren and Alice uprising, but that only seems like a couple of years ago to me.

I can see it. It's next to last visited on my profile.

I was surprised when I saw my 'like' count. I've been here for three months. Didn't realize until @Nick Parker pointed it out.

I found out that at a thousand posts you can change your status. I don't really mind. But I'm close.

I've noticed the "Days Won" feature is not longer visible. Why is that?

Maybe it reset this year and you haven't won any days yet? Mine's down to 1 and I know it was higher. I think it did used to be an overall history count.

Weirdly when I click on my last day won, it says Sharky actually had me beat by 1 like. Funny that I still stole it, I can remember a few times noticing that my "last day won" date was that previous day, but then later in the week it would have switched back to several months ago. So I'd scroll back and it turned out someone had snuck in an extra like ahead of me.

It was always Disco Stu.

Bastard.

Even so, normally the feature would be accessible and I could see who else has won. I can't even see it on BloodBoal's profile page.

That's what I'm saying, though, Bloodboal hasn't posted this year so it seems like it reset back to 0 for some reason and it just doesn't display anything if you haven't won any days yet this year.

Look at Disco Stu's profile, for example. It's still there.

Interesting. The thing resets eh?

Like when Lori is about to pull Freddy from the dreamworld, so he "resets" her in front of his house, the sly bugger.

WTF? That's a rigged game.  Mods should be disqualified from the Leaderboard! C'mon man!

@Jay, do the right thing and recuse yourself.

I suppose it was only a matter of time. Stefancos isn't far behind. It might take up to a year maybe, but BloodBoal will sink down to No. 3 unless he returns, in which he'll probably earn 500 likes per single post just by virtue that he's BloodBoal, which will leave Jay and Stefancos waaaaaaaay behind and unable to catch up, because they're just not funny enough.

People who take notice of their "like" count are in desperate need of validation from others.

You only say that because you're like-privileged!

His ratio is rather lackluster.  Of course, much of his posts come from before likes were a thing, I gather.

Ancient history, not interesting for anyone nowadays.
