Manakin Skywalker 4,891 Posted October 27, 2018 Share Posted October 27, 2018 Just FYI I used the sessions/OST a while back to create a realistic mockup of a professional presentation... what I found is that everything including the children's suite should fit onto two discs just barely. A third disc probably wouldn't be warranted unless there's a significant amount of alternate takes not present in the leaked sessions. Combining more cues together could also probably save a little bit of room (perhaps for the teaser music I'm hoping was found). CoS on the other hand fits on two discs just fine, with room to spare. Don't let the letdown when it's delayed, or not actually happening, let you down. The most likely scenario as others have stated was that there was meant to be an official announcement, but perhaps it was delayed, and MM's notes in the program reflect that it might've been scheduled for an announcement around the time he wrote those notes. Reading some of the comments here, one feels that they think they're the first ones to spot this. It's ridiculous. If it wasn't true at all and just a misprint or mistake, somebody at the RAH, the LSO, MM's agency, JW's agency, or even MM himself would have noticed. They'd have said, "Really? Harry Potter? That's not right!" The fact that nobody did tells us that it's accurate information. HP is in the works, has been for some time, and may be announced within the year (or maybe next year).
