pete 323 Report post Posted November 10, 2018 There’s a short cue for solo guitar in Angela’s Ashes. Probably less than a minute long but I haven’t seen the film since it was released
King Mark 2016 Report post Posted November 11, 2018 that's it?
pete 323 Report post Posted November 11, 2018 That's all I noticed. I only noticed it because I play guitar and knew there was no guitar in the OST. I wasn't specifically listening for unreleased music.

Kasey Kockroach 1966 Report post Posted November 11, 2018 If it's missing from the album, it means the music sucks and the composer did you a favor leaving it out! 1 Þekþiþm reacted to this

Þekþiþm 5470 Report post Posted November 11, 2018 I hate that stupid anthem in The Terminal OST. Should have been left off. But I like having CMIYC and The Terminal on my playlist when I'm travelling for work.
Naïve Old Fart 3505 Report post Posted November 11, 2018 Since they were rerecordings, THE EIGER SANCTION and EARTHQUAKE are all unreleased. THE ACCIDENTAL TOURIST is missing THE TRIP TO LONDON (film version), THE HEALING PROCESS (extended), and the music heard in the cinema. 1 Ricard reacted to this
Brundlefly 1371 Report post Posted November 11, 2018 Always around 5 minutes Amistad around 40 minutes Angela's Ashes definitely more than 1 minute! I would say around 15 minutes, but I don't know Born on the Fourth of July around 25 minutes JFK an unestimateable amount of music, but it's a lot Munich around 5 minutes + one long alternate The Terminal around 10 minutes + many alternates Azkaban around 45 minutes + 45 minutes alternates? Less than 5 minutes: Lincoln, Presumed Innocent, Sleepers, The River, Sabrina, Stepmom 1 Ricard reacted to this
Corellian2019 178 Report post Posted November 11, 2018 Presumed Innocent is tricky, because a majority of the music is derived from the main theme, and it's unclear, from memory, if the unreleased cues are simply tracked music, and if they replace other cues (ex. "Leon Talks"). The CD is definitely missing the main titles and the election night source music

King Mark 2016 Report post Posted November 11, 2018 You can also point out if an amazing highlight is missing from the OST , especially those with little unreleased music. That could still make a release worthwhile
Brundlefly 1371 Report post Posted November 11, 2018 Then add something like "an important cue that is very different from the rest of the score" to The Terminal. And Catch Me If You Can is basically unreleased, since the OST is kind of a re-recording, according to other members here.

Stefancos 9667 Report post Posted March 27 He recorded a substantial portion of the score to an early cut of the film, then about a year later recorded it again for a tightened up cut. What you hear in the movie is a combination of both recording sessions.
